I LOOOOOOOVE TO TRAVEL!

I think I inherited my love for travel from my grandma. (Unfortunately, I did not inherit her amazing gift for picking up languages to go along with it.) Thanks to her encouragement, I spent a semester of college in Zwingenberg an der Bergstrasse, Germany (how ‘bout that for a name?), a summer working at an orphanage in Naples, Italy, and eventually eight years working at a school in Vienna, Austria.

Thus far I've visited four continents and about 30 countries, many of which I've had the opportunity to explore on several occasions. That may sound like quite a few, but when you consider that there are about 195 countries in the world, I've got a loooooooong way to go!

I love learning about the people, history, culture, and folklore of different countries as well as seeing the amazing natural geography and man-made structures. Taking pictures of beautiful places is a hobby of mine and I’m excited to share my photos with you, I only wish that I had had a digital camera when I started traveling so that I could share everywhere I've been with you. Nonetheless, there are plenty of pictures and places to see. Ready to travel? Let’s go!
