England Pictures
I love England! Not only is the countryside beautiful and the towns and villages quaint, but they speak English, too! :) Back to Mrs. Redd's Travels
Plymouth
I spent a summer going to school in Plymouth, England, which is in the southwestern part of the country. It was beautiful and sunny almost every day. This is the spot where the pilgrims set out from to head to the New World, as well as the spot from which Sir Francis Drake launched his attack against the Spanish Armada.
Stonehenge
On our way to Stonehenge, my friend Michelle said, "I don't know what the big deal is with Stonehenge, it's just a pile of rocks!" Needless to say, once we got there and stood in front of the "pile of rocks" we were both amazed. Archaeologists think that the people who created Stonehenge might have created it as early as 3000 BC/BCE. It's amazing to think that people that long ago could have moved and erected such huge stones.
Bath
You're probably thinking that Bath is a funny name for a town, but once you know that the Romans established it as a spa resort in 43 AD/CE it makes a little more sense.
Miscellaneous Photos of England
If you ever have a chance to explore England, go for it! I've been there about six times and have only scratched the surface of all there is to see and do :).
