Turkey is a very interesting country. It has beautiful beaches, mountains, rocky plains, and busy cities. It has a loooong history, having once been part of the Roman Empire (you'll see some Roman ruins), as well as the Seljuk, Byzantine, and Ottoman Empires (you'll learn about those empires next year).
