Greece

A few years ago I visited Crete, which is the largest island in Greece. The Minoan civilization developed on Crete and we were able to tour the ruins of the palace of Knossos. Yep, that's where Theseus supposedly battled the Minotaur in the labyrinth beneath the palace. Someday I hope to get back to Greece to visit Athens and the beautiful island of Santorini!
