Paris Pictures

Paris is a beautiful city with fascinating history, beautiful architecture, cool museums, and fabulous restaurants. What more could you ask for? I love seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night when it is lit up with thousands of white lights.

One of my favorite artists is Claude Monet. His house, Giverny is a quick drive from Paris through some beautiful countryside. We visited his house in early spring, but I would love to go back in the summer when the gardens are in full bloom.

Things to look for:
The statue of St. Denis, who is holding his head under his arm (it got chopped off)
The statue of Joan of Arc
Ramses the Great's obelisk that is now at the Place de la Concorde in Paris
The glass pyramid in front of the Louvre Museum
The funny bikes we rode around Paris on a six-hour bike tour
Claude Monet's pink house
Emily and Katie hanging out with Claude Monet
