Salzburg Pictures

Salzburg is in the western part of Austria, right near the border of Germany. Mozart was born in Salzburg and it is also where a famous movie was filmed, "The Sound of Music," which is based on a true story. Salzburg is located on the Salzach River, which was used in Roman times to transport salt (hence the name). The oldest restaurant in Europe is located here, St. Peterstiftkeller, which has a super yummy desserts.
